Agreement and scope: By accessing or using FootySphere, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service. FootySphere provides AFL-related statistics, search tools, and insights and is an independent project not affiliated with the AFL or its clubs.
Eligibility and accounts: You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use account-based features. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
Acceptable use: You must not misuse FootySphere. This includes unlawful conduct, interfering with service operation or security, attempting unauthorised access, infringing others' rights, or using automated tools (including scraping or crawling) without prior written permission.
Data and service availability: We compile and process data from third-party and internal sources. While we aim for accuracy and timeliness, we do not warrant that all data is complete, current, or error-free at all times. Features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn.
Permitted use and licence: Unless otherwise stated, FootySphere grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.
Intellectual property: FootySphere branding, layout, software, and original content are owned or licensed by FootySphere and protected by law. Team logos, player images, league marks, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these terms.
Third-party content and links: FootySphere may contain links to third-party sites or rely on third-party data. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
No betting or professional advice: FootySphere content is for general information only. It is not financial, betting, legal, or professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on information from the service.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL): Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (including the Australian Consumer Law) or other applicable law.
Disclaimers and liability limits: Subject to non-excludable rights, FootySphere is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss of profit/revenue/data arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify FootySphere for losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or unlawful use of the service, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
Suspension and termination: We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for security risks, suspected unlawful activity, or material breaches of these terms.
Changes to these terms: We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms are published on this page and apply from the Last updated date. Continued use after that date indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
